30 Minute Rolls

These are called 30 Minute Rolls (10 min to mix, 10 to rise, 10 to cook), but I'm not sure I've ever made them that quickly. This recipe can also make Cinnamon Rolls, Fried Scones, Donuts, and Bread. :-)

30 Minute Rolls

2 1/3 c warm water
2/3 cup oil
1/2 c sugar (I cut it down to 1/4 c for these rolls)
1/4 c yeast (I used Instant Dry Yeast)
2 tsp salt
2 eggs
7 cups flour (I put half Whole Wheat Flour and half White Flour)

Mix Water, Sugar, Oil, Salt, and Yeast
Beat Eggs and then add
It should start to look like this if your Yeast is active
My knead hook is useless so I switched beaters and mixed in the Flour.

Roll into your rolls or whatever you're making. I chose to do the 3 leaf clover in a muffin pan
You can brush the tops with melted Butter, but I like to brush the top with an Egg wash. (Egg and Water or Milk mixture)
I only made a few rolls so this is the dough I had leftover. You can put it in the fridge in an airtight container and use it later (I've even put it in the freezer).
Bake the rolls at 350-375 for 10ish minutes. I like mine done at a higher temp so I get a crisper outside.

I'm always intimidated about making breads, but your step by step instructions make it seem doable, even by me! Thanks!
